In 1986, the birth of the 1st plate freezer marked company’s ability in manufacturing cold chain products; the company became one of the first freezing equipment manufacturers.
Nantong Freezing Equipment Factory was officially registered and the annual turnover exceeded 1 million. The plate freezer with refrigeration unit was awarded China Spark Program, Provincial and Municipal Science and Technology Progress.
The company became the 1st corporate enterprise in Tongzhou and completed capital increment twice, with market share up to 90% and turnover RMB 10 million.
TBF-3J vertical drum-type flake ice machine was born; Twin-drum spiral conveying freezer was provincially authenticated.
WA-1 plate freezer was first exported to Thailand and WA-1 plate freezer with refrigeration unit was exported to Iceland. Since then, the products started to enter the international market with annual turnover up to 30 million yuan.
In 2003, the company researched and developed several new products, certified as new high-tech enterprise of China Torch Program. In that May, it was renamed as Nantong Freezing Equipment Limited Company and completed the 4th capital increment.
In March, 2007, Nantong Tank Container Co., Ltd was established. And the business was expanded to tank containers.
In 2008, NTFE was certified as National High-Tech Enterprise.
In 2009, technical center of the company is certified as "Freezer Engineering Research Center of Jiangsu Province".
The company was integrated and regrouped as Nantong Square Cold Chain Equipment Co., Ltd. (NTSC for short) in June, 2012. In the same year, Nttank was certified as National High-Tech Enterprise; NTSC participated in formulating industry standards for fruits & vegetables and poultry.
“Square” brand was identified as famous trademark. The tank container was the 1st of heavy equipped product in Nantong.
Fluidized freezer, impingement belt freezer were researched successfully.
Square was prized as “Pilot enterprise of Industrial Informatics of Jiangsu ”.
NTTK E&T was certified as the provincial NTTK engineering and technological research centre, and passed the joint inspection of ASME “U”, U2, R.
In May,2016, the company completed the initial public offering of A-share Online Investor Exchange and was listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange with code 603339.
Nttank started production expansion project; the same year, its 10th anniversary was celebrated in Munich, Germany.
On 12th Dec, 2017, Square-Star Energy Ltd. was founded in Shanghai. Its birth made the 1st step forward to internationalization and conglomeration for SQTEG.
In 2018, to meet developing requirements, the company established several wholly-owned subsidiaries and renamed as Square Technology. SQTEG owns 6 subsidiaries and 1 R&D center. SQTEG has two main businesses: cold chain equipment and tank container.
